Originally from Buenos Aires, Pedro has been dancing for over eight years, six of which he has devoted to teaching. During his early stages as a dancer he was exposed to several styles of tango dancing, but “embraced the close embrace” -- the social aspect of the dance -- early on.
His teaching is rooted in the idea of using the dance floor as a laboratory to experiment, observe, and play. In his classes, he uses his dance floor experience as raw material to explore a nuanced understanding of movement in the close embrace, with the music, and in space.
